Not saying this isn't true, but Jacob Meyer (Coastal Carolina) committed to Depaul recently. I know Holtmann backed off another point/combo guard in the portal once they landed Meyer.

Coached against him when he was a sophomore in HS. We didn't know anything about him and he dropped 42 on us. We had 3 future D1 players and still couldn't stop him. He is a dawg. He was also a big-time football player with D1 offers.

Yes! With his quickness getting downhill, you are right...I don't know how you guard that when he knocks that shot down consistently.

I think the VMI gave us all a false sense of hope. Even though it was VMI, he did look like an entirely different player. Touchdown pass on the rollout to the right was legit. Maybe he didn't feel much pressure because he knew Sam was coming back. Who knows?!

By all accounts, Payne is a really good dude and probably a fantastic assistant coach. Head Coach is a totally different beast though and I think it is pretty clear he isn't cut out for it. UofL fans here in Louisville are LIVID and I have a hard time imagining him making it through the season...

I would be a bit more worried if we won a scrimmage by 4 and one of our guys had to score 46 to do it. In a scrimmage setting, it is really weird for one guy to score that much. Usually, because of what a coaching staff is trying to accomplish and trying to measure, one guy wouldn't even have...
