I think Kristic and Jeff Green have added some pretty good depth to their squad, Rondo has just been dragging them down this month. Perk is a great defensive player, but the C's needed some points off their bench, and a backup/replacement for Paul Pierce.

I've never really understood why a good Carolina/Duke/Kansas coach would leave for the NBA. Unless you just absolutely hate recruiting, what do you gain? All of those coaches get treated like royalty and make millions every year for coaching 35 games.

Of course it is cheaper to play in the Joel now, 50+ million dollars cheaper. This is all just speculation on what could be done with that land and building, once Wake owns it.

Wake is going to do something to cut their losses if they buy the place and it doesn't seem as if the odd concert and rodeo are enough to make it profitable.
