I am not POSITIVE this is right, but I am fairly certain. We added a last minute tourney a few days ago where we only played Elon and Davidson at Bermuda Run, which we won. So, no longer need solo 5th to qualify for regionals, actually need solo 7th. Hopefully does not matter, but just FYI.

Re: recruiting, the coaches who have been let go/moved on may have been young, but all 3 had zero experience recruiting at the major college level. For all 3, Wake was their first Power 5 job. The 3 guys who have replaced them all have experience recruiting at the power 5 level, as did/does...

I would bet they start Minter and see if they can get 2 from him, and then go from there.

Well, the whole team birdied 18 to salvage the day. In a solid 4th, 3 clear of 5th.

Barring them both absolutely imploding in the last 3 weeks of the season, both Fried and Soroka are locks for the playoff rotation, as is Keuchel. The only question is if it is Julio or Folty in the 4th spot.

Gattis didn't get "jumped" by Enos for the job, Enos was always ahead of him in the hierarchy. Gattis will either leave for a HC coach job this year, or stay at Bama one more year and leave for a HC job the following year. He is a rising star already, and star will rise only further next year...

Also, the "Phil isn't good at 4balls" narrative has no basis in fact. For his career in Ryder Cup, he is 5-7-4 in 4somes, 8-8-2 in 4balls, difference of one match. In the Pres Cup, he is 10-6-3 in 4somes, 8-5-5 in 4balls.
