Looking back, I probably should have looked at someplace closer to all of the job opportunities to live, but I already bought the house in Asheboro, and I got a good deal for it. So I'll just deal with the commute for now.

I can get here in about 45 minutes to an hour. Nothing compared to my DC commute that I had before.

Or were you talking about the Greensboro Science Center? I have not had a chance to go there yet. I did go to the zoo here. It's nice. Asheboro is a little small, but it's not too far from other places.

This question is mostly for people that have moved to North Carolina from other states. Just curious to know how long it took people to find a job in the RTP area here in NC. I just moved down here in May to Asheboro, and wanted to see some of the feedback.

Those places seem to be in the middle of where all the jobs are in the triangle or triad area. I don’t know what aggression has to do with any of it.

The ACC tournament is just not the same since Maryland left. That had to hurt losing such a big fanbase in DC and Maryland.

Here's some of the places that pop up in the map for me in North Carolina that seems to make sense: Burlington Randleman Siler City Chapel Hill Greensboro Charleston also looks nice. How about the South of Broad neighborhood area?

I'm also pretty interested in learning more about the Charleston, SC area. My cousin showed me pictures of "the battery" and it looks like a beautiful place to live and move to. I'm hoping to go and visit with him and his family later in April. They are renting a house in Folly Beach.
