247 article says that Wake just offered Bateman. It seems likely that Wake's Coaches may be losing Khalil Welsh and/or not feel good about closing Mose Hall.
 
From touring the message boards it seems like the only consensus on Marshall is that he will inform the school that he is selecting minutes before 3pm and the other schools will find out his selection via the announcement. The GT thinking seems like it is only speculation, but it makes sense if you have followed his recruitment.

Well wake will be on his far left. Too far of a reach for him to grab. He's going to GT we are done.

Strange to say when we are on pace to have 1 of our highest rated classes ever.
 
It looks like Marcus Marshall is choosing between Ga Tech and Vanderbilt. That is just reading the tea leaves based on non-existent twitter activity for Marcus and Wake Forest as compared to Ga Tech and Vanderbilt.

Georgia Tech is able to capitalize on last season's success - something we were unable to do after 2006! Hopefully that trend changes for the Deacs!
