Nope, not official and the AD let him freakin go on air for his weekly press conference and say he wants to be back next year (after not confirming or denying the rumor and getting a bunch of players to threaten boycotting the came this weekend). The AD in Austin has really crapped the bed on handling this one.
 
LOL at the O/U on the BC game. 34.5. Lowest of the FBS season so far, "besting" BC-UConn @ 36 on Saturday. BC will have 5 of the 10 lowest totals this year (this is our first, shockingly enough).

How is it that TX & LSU have the most dysfunctional athletic departments in the country? How do Mike Perrin & Joe Alleva get to be AD's at these schools and just do one boneheaded thing after another with no recourse. It really is amazing that stuff we see at Wake actually happens at way bigger institutions.

Last year's WF BC game, came in at 31.5 points under that total.

Yep, and the BC-UConn game did come in "under" at 30-0 BC winning.
 
Notre Dame to vacate wins from 2012-13 for academic fraud!!

SOUTH BEND, Ind. —



The NCAA is ordering Notre Dame to vacate wins from its 2012 and 2013 football seasons because a student athletic trainer committed academic misconduct by doing substantial course work for two players and giving six others impermissible academic extra benefits.

Coach Brian Kelly called the penalty excessive and the school will appeal.

A Division I Committee on Infractions panel also called for Notre Dame to be put on probation for a year and levied a $5,000 fine.

But for how long..........we can only hope.........as Deano is the man who lined all this stuff up back in the 90's, so we never know. UNC-Cheater Hill has paid so many people off to not talk it is reminding me of the Kennedy assassination and the Warren Commission report.
