2018-2019 NHL Thread – Thunderstorm Warning

They’re only 5 points back of currently 2nd place Pittsburgh, with two games in hand.

But to be fair, everyone else has some amount of games in hand compared to the Penguins.
 
Looking forward to harassing some Caps fans tonight. Maybe break out some E-A-G-L-E-S chants. Alex Smith sucks! Redskins are racist!

Canes are amidst an EIGHT game home stand? Their schedule really is incessantly fubar.
 
I hate this Carolina team. Everybody needs to be gone. Players to GM and everything in between.
 
Every team in the Central with a positive goal diff. Chicago and Minnesota with the lowest, both +7.

As tight as the Metro, but in the Central every team is actually good

Canes with back to back wins.....holding a wild card playoff position.
 
The only reason the Canes are in a WC spot is the Metro finally fell to pieces...not because they got better.
 
And the Atlantic too outside of the top 3. If we can't make it this year, then...

I will say the 'Canes have responded well to moments where they mightve gone in the tank in past seasons. Winning two in a row after losing to Philly they way we did and also went on a nice run after the 8-1 Toronto debacle
