Colts could do some damage. Think they give KC a game if they beat Houston next weekend

Giants gave the Cowboys a good game, even thougj neither team had anything to play for.

Meaningless but weird stat: 10 of the 12 teams that made the playoffs in 2006 also made the playoffs this year.

Something about Chinese New Years. Or the NFL schedule rotating through every 12 years

Yeah, all the AFC playoff games should be interesting. Really good chance both road teams win this weekend. KC and NE are vulnerable. KC has a couple of OL injuries, Ware is banged up, and they haven't been quite the same since Hunt got booted. And if Ware can't go, Damien Williams sucks. NE is NE and won't beat themselves, but this isn't 1 of their more talented editions, and Gronk looks done. Indy could give KC fits, and the Chargers are used to playing 16 road games and could knock off NE. As could the Ravens. This could well be 1 of those years where another wildcard team could represent the AFC, and the only team that has little to no shot is Houston.

Marvin Lewis and Adam Gase both terminated today.

Lots of NFL openings...

A little surprising the Bengals chose THIS year to fire Marvin Lewis. Considering that he has been on the hot seat for several seasons.

But how many of those 8 teams will have no balls and just reshuffle coaches from each other to perpetuate their mediocrity?

And Washington should be (but isn't yet) looking for a new GM as well as a HC. Injury excuse may save them this year.

I sure thought Frank Reich was a one and done coach after that debacle early in the season when rather than play for the tie, he took a huge chance and lost. Then, they got a bunch of injuries and lost a lot after that. He did a great job.

That is an unprintable thought on the east coast. Unfortunately, firing owners for incompetence doesn't happen. The people (other owners) who could force that change take the W's and laugh. Only embarrassment on the Donald Stirling level will get attention.

Washington fans are voting with their feet. Fedex field has not sold out in a while. And the prominent color in the stands varies greatly game to game. The stadium was pretty green Sunday.

I think firing Gase is a mistake by the Dolphins.

Generally, if you are firing someone who is likely to be a top candidate for a number of other NFL HC jobs, then you probably made a mistake.

Do they think they're getting Harbaugh?

The rest of those guys suck, though.

Brown's choice will be interesting. Did Greg Williams do enough as interim head coach to get the job?

Yeah, gonna be funny to see NFL teams slobber all over Harbaugh after he lost his last two games as Michigan coach by a combined score of 103-54.
