DFL angling to make the tourney after scores of teams withdraw.

Since the end of their basketball season, Georgia Tech has now had 3 players enter the transfer portal:

F/C - Evan Cole - Will be eligible immediately as a grad transfer (graduated in 3 years)
F - Kristian Sjolund - RS SO this year... Had entered back in December, but didn't transfer
G - Asanti Price - Freshman this year

With Banks graduating, as well, GT is going to be very thin underneath next season.

It's messed up that beating a shit team on a Wednesday can help a team get off the bubble.

It's official... No fans at NCAA Tourney.

State is a weak defensive team, and they held Pitt to 58 points, 35% FG% and 22% from 3. Justin Champagnie had 9 points.

A day before, WF allowed 81 points (the most Pitt scored against an ACC opponent all year) 52% FG% and 38% from 3. JC had 31 points.

Well-coached teams can have bad offensive games, but well-coached teams always play stout defense.

based on the timing, Ohio set the policy first and the NCAA didn't have much choice but to fall in line and call for no fans anywhere

one day WF will have a well-coached team that plays defense

Guess players are expendable for ncaa. If it’s so deadly why put players in harms way by traveling, etc!

No fans at games. They did it. They really did it.

Wellman with such foresight to know by tanking the program for a decade, it would prevent fans from becoming upset at not being able to attend an NCAA tournament game.

Monday I had Kent St, Hofstra & Ohio U. Tuesday a large play on UNC along with Hofstra and a loser on Ill-Chi. Today a loser on GW and tonight a large play on UNC along with OK St, BC, K State & Ole Miss.

But by then we will have no fans without any Covid or NCAA direction.

NCAA should reduce the field to 32 teams and play the tournament in a week and a half in one location.
