2020 Carolina Panthers Thread

That Ted Ginn td definitely leads you to believe that burners can past our secondary. Goodwin had a few chances with the 49ers as well. Hopefully those issues have been corrected since then but we will see. Also helps to have Wentz on his back as Biff said.

David Newton is so bad.

"The Panthers are only half a game ahead of Atlanta (3-1) in the NFC South, so a loss would put them a half game back.

That this is an NFC game also is a big factor. Detroit is tied with the Falcons for the best conference record at 3-0. The Panthers are 2-1, losing to New Orleans three weeks ago."

1. If the Panthers lose and drop to 4-2, then they are statistically tied with Atlanta for the time being as far as "games ahead."

2. Detroit isn't 3-0 in the NFC since, you know, the team you cover just beat Detroit four days ago.

Like David Newton is a below average message board poster

I also liked what I saw out of Byrd on Sunday. The dude obviously has the talent to start for a good team.

I even skipped past the second paragraph which is horribly written:

"Both teams are atop their respective divisions with 4-1 records, so the winner will maintain that position. The Eagles will anyway since they have a game and a half lead over second-place Washington in the NFC East."

He writes like a computer.

The Eagles are also 3-0 in the NFC, with wins over Washington, NY Giants and Cardinals.

The next 5 games before the bye could go anywhere from 1-4 to 4-1 and I wouldn't be surprised.

I'd gladly take 7-3 going into the bye. Anything better would be exceptional

7-3 is my prediction. Win one of eagles/falcons and 2/3 from Bears/Bucs/Dolphins. I could easily see 4-1 by going 3-0 against the second group.

I think Mitch and whoever is playing QB for the Dolphins when we play them are going to have a baaaad time against our defensive front.

My father's name was Richard - I was a Jr - so it was Dick. Although a lot of people did call me Dicky.

He could have been "Big" and you "Little." If I were him I would have insisted on it. And I would have been the fastest to answer the phone, too, just so I could call throughout the house: THERE'S A GIRL ON THE PHONE WHO WANTS LITTLE DICK.
