2021-22 Men's College Basketball Season - UNC v. Kansas for the Natty

This past Tuesday (February 8), Evansville beat Indiana State (LaRavia's former team) 65-56. It is the first NCAA Division game since stats have been recorded where neither team recorded a single offensive rebound. Also, Indiana State went 0 for 17 from three. They played the rematch last night and ISU won in OT. Each team had 3 offensive rebounds, and ISU did make 9 threes.

Last week's UVA/Miami tilt almost had no FTs. Miami was 0/0, and UVA was 3/3, all in the last few minutes. That was the fewest FT attempts I've ever seen. If Indiana St was 0/17 from 3, you'd think there'd be some long rebounds off the back rim that would produce at least a few offensive boards.

Still wish Clemson could beat Duke…but this kind of assholery makes it harder to pull for the tigers.

The ACC has suspended David Collins for the ND at Clemson game tomorrow.

Honeslty Alondes Williams should be getting serious consideration for NPOY. He is flirting with historic all around numbers.

He's just about on pace to join Penny Hardaway, Evan Turner, Ayo Dosunmu and Ricky Minard as the only players in the past 30 years to average 20 points, six rebounds and five assists per game for a full season.

If Manman does not get ACC player of the year it will be a joke.

For perspective, Hardaway (3.4), Turner (4.4), Dosunmu (3.3) and Minard (3.7) all averaged over 3 turnovers per game. Alondes is at 3.6 turnovers a game. Cost of doing business at an elite level.

If Manning had pulled in Ayo to Wake, would we be gushing about Steve Forbes right now?

Grayson Allen take down on Alex Caruso that broke his wrist was as bas as this foul and Coach K never had any problems with his antics. Nor with walk on Patrick Davidson hacking on Chris Paul. Terrible foul on Clemson and definitely should be a suspension, but please Coach K, spare me your indignation.

Yeah. That play by the Clemson player was dirty. But K is the LAST person to be condemning him. Fuck him and his self-righteous bullshit. His players have been dirty since his first teams at Duke.

Dauntay Jones dunking on and then doing push ups on a uva player went uncommented on by coach k.

Thank you, Cory Alexander, for reminding us that Caleb Mills injuring his ankle was “not part of his plan“ in coming back to North Carolina today. Broadcaster cliches for the win.

Purdue had a really shaky 70:00 this past week. And Loyola continues to impress.

One ACC game tonight, UVA at VT. Both teams are playing their way back to the bubble. VT has won 5 straight ACC, and is actually the 2nd highest rated ACC team in KP. UVA has won 4 straight ACC games, including the win at Duke last Monday. Since WF beat both teams on the road, not sure WF has a rooting interest from rating perspective, but UVA and WF are tied for 5th in the ACC right now.

Both are playing better for the most part, though UVA didn't dispatch GT as quickly as they should have. But I don't think either are that close to the bubble yet.

I thought Miami would get more respect for beating us at home but they only picked up like 5 AP votes. The ACC is down so hard this year.
