2024 Wake Women's Basketball Offseason - Grad transfer SMU PG Tamia Jones

Don't usually pay attention to women's hoops, but saw this thread and noticed we're 4-19.

That's fucking terrible.

No idea how these things work, but with all of the investments in the men's program, shouldn't the women also benefit from that? Why are we so bad?

It's tough watching this team get down because they just don't have the talent, but fight so hard to stay in games and get close to a comeback and fall short because they just don't have the talent to finish the job.
 
Best and perhaps last chance for an ACC win at Pitt on Thursday.

No NIL and it looks like no recruiting in the portal like Forbes can do.
 
Hinds was honored for Senior Day vs. UNC on Sunday.



Obviously she could come back, but it's not a good sign. She has two years of eligibility left.
 
Can’t be any fun playing for such a bad team.

Is there any evidence pro or con that the players do or don’t enjoy playing for Gebbia and her coaching staff? I have no idea what her coaching style is….
 
The best evidence is that players have left but only the freshmen have come in. No transfers.
 
She went .500 in her first season which is a very promising start. But this is a horrific second season.
