TAKE THAT BOSTON COLLEGE!! AND VIRGINIA!!

Out of everything, the thing I’m maddest about today was the playcalling inside the 10. Milking the clock like scoring was a guarantee just running Ellison for 2 yard gains.
Give up 35 (and should have been 42) to Syracuse and griping about playcalling??

Lulz

Focus now needs to be retaining some key guys for next year. Very concerned we are going to lose Davis, Pointer, Mustapha and possibly one more on defense and Banks, Key, Claiborne and one or two more on offense. Also wouldn’t be surprised if Kern transferred for guaranteed playing time.

ETA: The play calling on offense in the 4th quarter and the decision to go for two were some of the worst I’ve seen in Clawson’s tenure. Disastrous season for so many different reasons.

Didn't work out, but what's the percent we make both a PAT and a 25 yard field goal? Probably close to 50%.
At least. For most teams, it's 90%. Dennis would have been near that. Black too.

Black made his PATs today. Dennis only missed one PAT all year. Completely baffling decision.

Deeply hope (and have some mild optimism) that all the conversations DC has already been having around NIL were fruitful. Because we could easily see a mass exodus.

Dennis lost us the Duke game missing multiple very short field goals, and then didn’t make a kick after that. And Black is a question mark.

Clawson trusted Kern and the offense more than Black or Dennis. I think it’s defendable.

42 - 62

In fairness, the post that gets trotted out each week includes Notre Dame, which is not an ACC opponent.

Clawson is 30-49, .380, in regular season ACC games.

Clawson has one winning ACC season and 2 .500 ACC seasons in 10 years. Grobe had 3 winning ACC seasons and one .500 record in 13 years.

Agreed. But give Kern four shots into the end zone instead of just two. He was balling out all game

Wake has given him tons of time and understanding. 31-55 ACC record. No other school would put up with that.
30-49 in ACC games

Plus an ACCCG loss to Pitt, four losses to Notre Dame, and 1-1 in OOC games vs UNC

With some of our bonehead decisions, I don't think there's any "could" to it. Unfortunately. We very well could be back to 2013-14 level going into next season.

No it isn’t. Black made his PATs today.
