In that coed league I mentioned, i had something happen that had never happened to me in the decades I had played. As I was moving to camp under a flyball to me in left, all of a sudden all the sprinklers in the OF went on. I was getting sprayed from different directions with every step I took.

Yes, I caught the ball. Once I was getting soaked the only thing to do was to catch the very routine popup.
