As the king of terrible movie takes, I love Waterworld- owned it on vhs. Costner with gills? Hopper with a weird eye patch riding diesel waverunners? Not much to dislike - except the pee drinking thing.

Yeah it's great. It's garbage, but it's great. I also recently rewatched starship troopers as well. So bad, but so good.
 
Fun fact...I don’t own a laptop.

Also don’t technically own a desktop. Wife has 4 screens up working from home and I’m over here posting on either my iPad and cell phone.
 
Or just like, rewatch something like Veep, Community, IASIP or something. You're the worst probably also fits in the type of show youre looking for.

my last new low calorie show was Superstore but they pack in some surprisingly good leftist politics for a network sitcom

just did a Fleabag rewatch after that and now I'm back to Rick and Morty

did y'all ever do a Rick and Morty mafia? had to have, no?
 
I emerged from college at the beginning of the golden age of television and I just can't watch movies

We've done a few Rick and Morty's I think. They;re pretty fun themes. Fleabag is also great and on the list. Brooklyn 99 probably is too.
 
I guess it's covid related industry stoppage, but I went through Prime, Hulu, Netflix, and HBO for new shows like at least once a month since january and just nothing grabbing me

I have never understood the pad thing. I bought an iPad, never used it - bought those Amazon fire pads, never used them - just ended up using my phone.

I have a hot wife and Makos mom who takes care of those needs for me. No longer a big porn guy.

On the rare occasion, I’ll watch it on the iPad.

Troopers is classic. I tried watching the 2nd one, it was a chore to sit through.

I'm currently watching saving private ryan.
 
even hour-long episodes are pushing it these days


I like my chromebook for what I imagine most people use ipads for -- i need a keyboard

I did just buy an Amazon Fire just to read articles saved to my Pocket and for recipes, but I feel kinda silly about it

Was Ted Lasso this year? That was good, lighthearted fun. But yeah, it's been rough for a bit.
