Anyone watching ND-USF?

I remember years ago when there was speculation that Notre Dame might play Wake in a bowl game going to their board and seeing their fans saying things like how it was beneath them to have to play a school like Wake Forest in a bowl game. They had had a really terrible season but their arrogance was intact.

there is a reason the college hof moved from south bend to atlanta, and it sure as hell isn't because of freaknik.

Seems like Notre Dame played well but had some unfortunate turnovers and poor red zone play. Meanwhile, Michigan scored 2 defensive TDs. If Michigan is favored over Notre Dame next week, it may be a good time to bet on the Irish. ?

If the Irish bench Crist and go with the backup they have a chance to salvage their season. Crist was awful yesterday and cost them the game.

Regarding the USF fumble return for TD, my question is when does the official decide when forward progress is stopped and whistle the play dead. The Irish RB had been stopped, was being pushed back, then the ball was ripped away. Has the concept of forward progress been removed from football or is it only called between the five yard lines?

Doesn't seem right that when lack of forward progress has been clearly established the ball can still be ripped out and remains live.
