Appleby AP ACC POY

yet we can't win an ACCT game or get into the NCAAT

but congrats dude....that's a great recognition
 
Well we haven’t even played the ACCT yet but yeah solid shot we don’t win one there either
 
Who all votes for the POY that Wong won yesterday? I believe the coaches do, but curious who else does if that is not the AP media.
 
We need at least 1, probably 2 Guards/Wings in the portal.

Forbes should have a really good argument:
  • I get you to ACC POY
  • I get you to First Team All-ACC, and thus in the conversation for All-American honors
  • I get you drafted in the NBA first round (LaRavia)
  • I get you to the NBA (Alondes has to be close - he's getting double and triple doubles in the G-league)
  • I get you NIL $ (we need to be doling out at least 25K per recruit)
  • I get you run with CP3 in the summer, in Winston
  • I get you a Wake Forest diploma/graduate degree --- which is worth (perhaps) as much if not more than that NBA track
  • You get to meet Nick Nurse
  • You get to work my summer basketball camp and hang out with me
But:
- We need YOU to get us back to the NCAAT and resurrect the program.

Wake Forest guard Tyree Appleby is The Associated Press men's basketball player of the year in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the second straight season a Demon Deacons player took the honor after Alondes Williams earned it a year ago.
