Appleby is Wake Forest's 2nd straight ACC AP player of year

Wake Forest guard Tyree Appleby is The Associated Press men's basketball player of the year in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the second straight season a Demon Deacons player took the honor after Alondes Williams earned it a year ago.

I know that the person who voted Jeremy Roach POY probably meant to vote for him as defensive POY but I still firmly believe this should be public ballots
 
Tyree has 17 in the 1st round of the College 3-point shooting contest. He's going to advance to the 2nd round.

Tyree lost a tiebreaker (most made baskets) to advance to the final with 16.
