AT&T National (golf) thread

In case you guys didn't know this, Webb has already made over $2 million this year. Pretty unbelievable, and more than his first 2 years combined.

Course record has been tied twice today and will be broken by Watney who is -8 on the back nine alone with one hole to play. Will Watney's course record (with a par on 18) last the day? Here comes Rickie!

ETA: course record was set today by Kirk, tied by Marino, will be broken by Watney and Fowler is making a run at it....

Webb and Bill both moved up the leaderboard quite well today. Either one can make a run at the title tomorrow. It would be great to see them battle it out down the stretch.

Going off early and in threesomes because of weather concerns. Bill teed off at 11:10 and Webb at 11:20. not sure how golf channel will handle their 1:00-2:30 slot since CBS has 3:00-6:30 and will obviously not be live unless there are rain delays. final group tees off at 11:30.

Seems like the putter is letting Webb down a bit, now 5 back of the lead. Bill moving the wrong way today.

Haas needs to learn to get some composure on Sundays. He puts himself in contention for the first three days then screws himself over on Sunday. Maybe he should talk to his dad about that.

His dad has won much more often in 3-day tournaments than in 4-day tournaments, so not sure he has the secret here, either. Good week for both players. Webb's first win is bound to come soon, and Haas looks like he has a legit chance of getting more career wins than his dad. Impressive work by both.
