BBall Recruiting Thread 2k16- SJM, Washington, Childress & Mitchell sign NLIs; 2017?

Weird event today. Madison Jones was going door to door in my neighborhood for some type of charity. He feels like Giles is coming to Wake. #vibes

Most programs that win the postseason NIT put up the banner and list it in their accomplishments.

Calling the champ the 65th best team in the country is lazy.

Not really. Gone are the days when conferences only got one bid and the NIT championship (or even 3rd place) was something to hang your hat on. Winning the Maui Invitational or even the Preseason NIT usually means you beat better teams than the ones you face in the NIT.

The automatic bids to nothing conferences in the NCAA mean that the NIT is not the "65th Best Team in The Country".

We had 14 losses that year. At best, that gets you a 12 seed if your SOS and quality wins are lucky enough to get you in (which they obviously weren't). So great, then let's be generous and say we were the 48th best team that year.

The NIT was a nice way to finish the season, but it was a nothing tournament with wins over nobodies.

We beat Vanderbilt, New Mexico, California, NC State and Notre Dame to win that tournament.

It's simply one of the program's accomplishments that is painted on the wall of the practice gym. No one is blowing it out proportion.

Reading the coach's interview from last week, no way Giles is coming to wake

Dude spends whole time discussing duke
