BBall Recruiting Thread 2k18 - Hoard, Mucius, Lewis, and Wright sign NLIs!

"Cole Swider PUT ON A CLINIC in @thebabc's 66-60 WIN with 37pts (13-16 FG/7-9 3pt)." He had 7 rebounds as well. A few scouts claim that he is the best shooter in the class and will be a Top 60 recruit.

Can never have enough pure shooters.

From the stats I'm seeing, they only saw Hoard play 8 min per game, averaging 8 pts and 6 boards, while Newman played 11 mpg, scoring 11 ppg, 5 rpg, 3 apg.
Is that usual for them? Possible the stats are off but they are very detailed.

Just got another crystal ball for Mucius to Wake. This one from Dain Ervin. Makes you wonder!

Mucius is going to be a physical SF. Would love love love to get him to commit early.

Hoard played 17.2 minutes per game but the other stats are correct. He did take the second most shots on the team though. However, everyone played second fiddle to Coby White (UNC) as he did a lot of the shooting (he took 39 shots, Hoard took 25).

Hoard bookended his weekend with good performances. 12 pts on Friday and 14 on Saturday while he took 17 of his 25 shots those games as well. Seemed to have a secondary role on the 2 Saturday games.

Newman didn't play in one of the Saturday games but he made up for it with two solid games to finish the weekend (15 & 14 pts).

Wake Forest watched Team Takeover a few times this weekend.

It's filled with high major D1 guys such as:
Jalen Smith, 5* PF that WF has interest in but has not offered - http://247sports.com/Player/Jalen-Smith-84252
Bryce Golden, 4* SF - http://247sports.com/Player/Bryce-Golden-91430
Brandon Slater, 4* SG - http://247sports.com/Player/Brandon-Slater-87927
Anthony Harris, 4* PG ('19) - http://247sports.com/Player/Anthony-Harris-45572938
Justin Moore, 4* SG ('19) - http://247sports.com/Player/Justin-Moore-94192

Jalen Smith is the best player and the only one with known WF interest. He also had the best weekend for the team, leading them in points & rebounds. According to the 247 he is a Maryland lean but no clue how far along he is in the process and if a WF offer would give Manning a chance to get him. Might be more likely WF was scouting the '19 guys primarily.

I haven't received any of my monthly intel on Deac Hoops. At this point, it seems like just about everyone is off the board, sans that high usage guy who's testing the NBA waters and one other big white dude from Michigan? Seems like our options are dwindling.

Not sure we'd want to tie up 2 years into the guard from the Zags either.
