BBall Recruiting Thread 2k19 - Charles Coleman de-commits to Wake. :(

Jaylen measured out at 6'8 1/2" (with shoes) 207lbs, 8'9" standing reach, 7'1" wingspan and had the largest hand measurements of all the players on the world team. Others of interest, RJ Barrett 6'6 1/2", Charles Bassey 6'10 1/2" with a 7'3" reach and the aforementioned Dante had a 7'5" wingspan

Jaylen has really been impressing at these all-star events. Below are some tweets - there are many others I didn't paste, but you'll get the idea:

Fran Fraschilla "@WakeMBB got a good one in 6-8 @JaylenHoard. Watched him @nikehoopsummit practice last night. French-born, his father, Antwon, former Murray State star & mom played at Washington."

Dave DuFour "Day 2 @nikehoopsummit is more of the same as Jaylen Hoard, Bathiste Tchouaffe, and Josh Green continue to impress in scrimmages."

Bay Area Hoops "@JaylenHoard is much stronger then expected, especially once entering the paint. Ability to soak up contact is impressive. @nikehoopsummit #bah"

Michael Visenberg "Jaylen Hoard been impressive in this @nikehoopsummit practice. Strong frame, made some nice passes, was standout in first short scrimmages."

" largest hand measurements of all the players on the world". Must be intimidating in the locker room.

Wyatt Walker seems like a perfect fit for Wisconsin. I'd love him here but Wiscy makes a lot of sense for him.

Good thing we have a solid class of 19 to replace our one and done savior....

19's will be committing over the next few months. We've been in an NCAA mandated dead period for a while. Recruiting should heat up shortly.

247 has a bunch of crystal balls for Charles Bassey (#3 2019 big man whom we offered) to go to Western Kentucky. If he isn't going to a blue blood then perhaps Danny Manning should take the butt plug out of his ass and try and get some talent in here for 2019, unless he is planning on getting fired and doesn't give a fuck. Why should a recruit choose WKU over Wake, especially if they are a big with NBA aspirations? Go coach a bunch of team USA kids who aren't coming here and shoot a Dove commercial. This staff is full of duds.

Manning better win next year, cause these 19 recruits have cooled off on Wake.

WKU had the 15th best class in the nation in 2017

Nothing sketchy happening at WKU. At this point just buy the players the NCAA don't investigate or do shit. That's where college basketball is now.

The poison seeps in deeper. We have a top 20 player and a great class, and this is your thought....

It's an epidemic. They're inflicted by Wellmanning.

Zeke/Hoard/Brown/Sarr is a young and VERY talented nucleus to build around. Hopefully Doral and Craw come back so we have a legitimate shot at top-half ACC finish and NCAAT run. Danny improved the program year 3, had some damaging attrition in year 4, and has a top rated class coming in year 5 to get back on track.

I understand the thought process here, keepin' it positive and all, but he had more than damaging attrition - he mis-managed the team

If you don't at least acknowledge that, you'll just be seen as the 180-degree flip side to the doom and gloomers
