Whelp, that makes it pretty clear where you went to school. the gigantic portraits of the plumlees in the gym anteroom are vomit-inducing.
 
lol, Jamie Lewis just went from being #88 to #211 on 247. Pretty weird and significant drop, considering the timing of it. Players usually don't drop that much at this stage of the recruiting cycle.

He's still ranked in the Top 100 on Rivals.

Wait there are giant portraits of the Plumlees at the Christ School gym?? Lol thats so weird.

So does this destroy our overall recruiting class ranking? If getting Ayo would have had us near the top and signing the then #88 put us at around 12, does this drop us out of the Top 20?

Well, like them in the way that they memorialize players who have come through the program. But unlike them in the fact that they're four foot photographic portraits hanging in a weird antechamber at the gym' s entrance.

It doesn't do anything because the class rankings are based on the composite rankings, which didn't change with the 247 rankings.

I had a NC State person tell me that the change actually happened a while ago but a glitch made it just appear now. So I guess maybe it's not a new change?
 
IF recruiting class rankings or stars were the most important thing about recruits then UK, Mich St, AZ, and KU would have a lot more NCAA trophies than they do over the last several years. Let's just hope the 2018 Wake recruits are as good together on the court as their hype on these boards and if they are we'll be fine.

Those schools have multiple trophies. You realize that only one school can win per year, right.
 
And the lose to UNC and Duke who also recruit elite players.
 
Wake Forest (and a lot of other schools) showing interest in Auburn decommit EJ Montgomery. 2018 PF, #31 overall on ESPN.

Recruiting class rankings and stars ARE the most important things when it comes to winning national titles and performing well in the regular season and NCAA Tournament on a consistent basis.

To say otherwise is just factually incorrect.
 


Yes please. He'd be a very nice athletic 5 to go along with the athletic lineup we'll have on the floor.
