BBall Recruiting Thread 2k19 - Charles Coleman de-commits to Wake. :(

Didn't HOF Bledsoe "take" Algebra 3 without taking Algebra 2 and KY get away with it?

Greg and India's daughter Dowd is Web Simpson's wife

And his son attended 5 high schools, the last in California, so that he could play enough to be recruited as a QB. Ended up at ECU, Charlotte and then a school in Utah. Pretty sure he’s not in the NFL.

One thing to hope for is if we get a new coach, we could get back into recruiting a few of the uncommitted players that we were allegedly after earlier like:

Chol Marial
Christian Brown
Tre Mitchell

Assuming there's no additional attrition (big assumption, I know), is it accurate that we have two open scholarships?

Seniors - Brandon Childress, Adrien White
Juniors - Chaundee Brown, Olivier Sarr
Sophomore - Jaylen Hoard, Isiah Mucius, Sharone Wright Jr., Michael Wynn
Freshman - Ismael Massoud, Jahcobi Neath, Ody Oguama

Am I the only one who has no idea who Adrien White is?

Transfer from Charlotte. Sitting out this year but will be eligible for his senior year at Wake. Three-year starter at Charlotte who put up 15 points/game, 5 boards/game, and 1.7 steals/game last year (albeit on a horrible team).

Not that it's much of a comparison, but based on his stats/profile, he should be better than Torry Johnson.

He is also Andrew White's younger brother

He's a transfer from UNC-C. He averaged 15 ppg as a junior and is a 6'3 SG whose three point shooting went down each year.

Averaged 0.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.2 assists in 5.2 minutes in the 2016 FIBA U16 tournament playing for Finland. Went HAM in 10 minutes against Montenegro where he finished with 2 points, 4 boards, a steal, and a block. Thanks Google.

From an Illinois message board:

Looking for a sleeper late in the year? Try Finnish forward Olivier Robinson-Nkamhoua. The 6-foot-8 senior with the Bishop Walsh program was out of sight last year thanks to a broken leg and has just been in the United States for two years. However, Coach Dan Prete may have a major breakout candidate on his hand. He finished with 15 points, six rebounds and three blocks in his team’s hard-fought defeat as he is the perfect small ball power forward in today’s game. Arkansas and Wake Forest have begun to show greater attention with the intriguing forward.
