While I would be shocked to see him return at this point, it has been ~3 weeks of silence since naming his top 4.

There is no doubt that Forbes has at least been talking to him... It'd be silly not to.

any word on whether Chaundee was anticipating the waiver to happen this year? don't remember any quotes about it.

gotta figure the longer he's removed from the emotional aspect of Manning leaving, the more likely he stays, especially given the fact that the waiver announcement was made after his decision

Chaundee's return would be key because he is an elite rebounder for a wing player (2nd on the team in rebounding last year by a healthy margin), and WF will need all of the help it can get on the boards next year. Also, Chaundee can play multiple spots on the floor which is critical for a small roster.

Seems like the longer it drags on without a commitment, the more likely he is to return. Maybe he’s waiting to see if he’ll have to sit a year?

It would smart to wait until May 21 to say anything. Sarr could have screwed himself. That dude must have really wanted out badly.

More likely that UK wasn't going to wait around to fill a position of need.

If the transfer rule does not change and if Sarr is not granted a waiver to be immediately eligible at KY, would think that Sarr might just play professionally in Europe (assuming that is still a reasonably lucrative option in the wake of the pandemic) rather than wait until Winter 2021 to play organized basketball again.

Then again, the current circumstances may completely change the money making opportunities in professional sports leagues. Given that soccer is the king by miles in Europe, professionally leagues in secondary sports there will be the last to return to the same pay scale as the past.

Sarr has been quoted as saying that's his exact plan. No waiver = Europe.

This list is trash. Has Danny Manning as the coach of Wake Forest.

Noticeably, a couple Harvard guys are transferring to Ohio State and Seton Hall. Assuming this is accurate.

Some of it is out of date, but still a helpful list of who's out there.

He's probably making just as much money at Kentucky as in a Euro-proleague.
