BC Game thread 7PM ESPNU

Is that a minutes played per level of experiene number? Me thinks not.

Ww started 1 frosh, 2 sophs and 2 seniors w 1 junior, 2 frosh, 2 sophs who transferred and a walk on off the bench.

This year, we are starting 1 senior, 1 junior, and three sophs w 1 senior, 1 junior, 1 soph, and 1 frosh off the bench.

If you are a senior and you play 100% of the minutes then you have a higher weight to experience than a senior who plays 50% of the minutes. I do not believe it weighs the prior experience in that.

we only have 1 scholarship senior

Right. I was thinking of mcclinton as a senior this and a junior the year before.

Mt point is last year we had two seniors playing 30+ minutes when healthy ir not suspended. This year we have one senioe playing under 25 minutes.

Next year, I have been saying, will be really interesting as we will start 1 sr, 3 jrs, and one frosh w a sr, a jr, and somr sophs and frosh off the bench. We'll be legit experienced

Right...it just broke down to way less minutes than you thought.

Devin played a total of 71% of the minutes, while Codi played 56% of the minutes. Almost all of our other minutes came from sophomores and freshmen.

ACC experience rankings:

1. Pitt
2. Clemson
3. ND
4. VT
5. UNC
6. GT
7. Cuse
8. L'ville
9. UVA
10. BC
11. Duke
12. Miami
13. WF
14. FSU
15. State

Pitt and Clemson are at the bottom of the ACC Standings, and they have the most experienced teams in the conference. FSU, L'ville and UVA are at the bottom half in the ACC in experience; yet, they are at the top of the ACC. Experience alone doesn't help much (see Pitt and Clemson).

UVA doesn't have an underclassman playing 20+ minutes per game. All 5 leading minutes players are juniors/seniors. They're extremely experienced regardless of what half they fall in. Arians counting as lots of experience is kinda bogus as well. It's true that Pitt sucks despite lots of old guys, but there's a sweet spot between "we're all seniors that couldn't leave college early" and "freshmen/sophs get 80% of our minutes" across teams that aren't flooded with high 4 and 5 star talent (like FSU now, sadly).

If Collins doesn't leave next year we'll be in that sweet spot.

That excuses bad coaching and folding at the end of most every game? COLLINS might as well be a senior. He is gone after this year.

NEGATIVE VIBES like these, are why we aren't closing games. WE WILL WIN TONIGHT AND JC WILL RETURN FOR HIS JUNIOR YEAR. LETS FRIGGIN GO

Nasty day up here. Maybe there will be a sparse home crowd. Took me almost 2 hours to make the usually 30 minute drive from Rhode Island.

Two straight games in which Crawf has gotten a look at 3 that "wide open" doesn't give it justice .... brick city twice.

We have a bunch of 3-pt specialists who can't knock down the 3!!! So go inside where we have the obvious advantage.
