The answer is obviously Lazenby. He's the only person in the world who's come close to killing James Bond.
 
Connery or GTFO. That said, I do like Moore, too. But Connery is by far the best.

Voted Sean Connery, but my favorite movies are GoldenEye and Skyfall. Pierce Brosnan in GoldenEye might be my single favorite Bond performance (maybe due to its being the first Bond movie I ever saw), but you just can't ignore how terrible the rest of his movies were. And man, Connery is just iconic.
 
The only justification for voting for Daniel Craig is being 15 years old
 
If you're going to count David Niven you need to include Barry Nelson for his portrayal of CIA agent "Jimmy Bond" in the tv adaptation of Casino Royale (1954).
 
I like the newer movies and I like DC. Dalton was awful, moore too old and too corny. Brosnan was ok. Connery is second. His bond is closer to DCs Bond than it is to any of the others.

Huh? Must've been the first one you saw and therefore holds some sentimental value. it was the second one I saw and I liked it when I was 7, but it fucking sucks hard.
 
And Solace was a truly bad movie. It started out ok but really got bad in the second half. I am tired of Daniel Craig. He isn't good at doing the sly quips (he has admitted this in interviews) that make Bond's dialogue unique and add some comic relief, even if they are corny. He is much better than Brosnan, but this next movie should be his last. Given his age and the slow production of movies these days I'm sure it will be. He'll find a way to break his contract or the studio will want to break it.

This. Gotta also love all the old Ford products in Goldfinger & the female lead in From Russia with Love was extremely hot. Casino Royale & Skyfall are really great also.
 
Gotta go with Connery. Never Say Never Again was awesome though I was swayed by the diving scenes and Kim Basinger in that tight leotard.
 
Rumors that Chiwetel Ejiofor could be the next Bond villain. That could be good.

The list is ever-changing, but I like Eva Green's Vesper, Mary Goodnight, and Solitaire.

If I recall correctly, they signed him up for two more movies after Skyfall at about $25M/per, and wanted to sign him for more, but 2 is all he would agree to. Even with how bad Solace was, Craig's turn as Bond has been an enormous box office success.
