The borders are “open” yet they’re counting the “encounters.”

Stop telling everybody the borders are open. They’re not.

I've seen some facebook posts from right-wingers who are deep into conspiracy crap that Venezuela has been allowing Iranian and other Middle Eastern terrorists to move to Venezuela and identify as Venezuelan so they can sneak across Biden's open border by the tens (or hundreds) of thousands to prepare the apocalyptic sneak terrorist attack to end all sneak terrorist attacks on US soil. And the "truth" is out there for everyone to see, but senile Joe and brainless lemming liberals just can't or won't see it.
 
Are there actual stats to corroborate all these anecdotes about Iranians and Chinese and Palestinians and such crossing the border or is it just feelings?

Pretty significant, to be honest. The cost of goods and services that he receives is lowered by the constant source of cheap labor that enters this country through the "open" borders. It's almost like it's something we do intentionally.

Surely someone in such close proximity to a graduate of the darla moore school of business knows all of this already.

The IRS even has a way for them to pay taxes and pay into SS (both of which undocumented receive little or no benefit from).

Not to mention most folks who cross the border are claiming asylum, which they have the legal right to do (regardless of if they cross at a legal port of entry or not).

I am actually pretty fascinated with the Reff's postings in the tunnels. He is an educated, seemingly financially successful, grown up human, American with access to the entirety of human knowledge at his fingertips yet he still feels the need to swing by the Tunnels after a big, come-from behind, homecoming victory to tell us that massively increased illegal immigrant encounter rates equates to an open border and that vaccines are not shots. That is fascinating.
