I don't really consider Sandusky a sports story. The sports story that came out of it is the football team's sanctions and that ridiculously tacky and disgusting feel good story about the team's resurgence this year. For me, it's the replacement ref debacle, but that's primarily because I'm a Packer fan.
 
This entire poll is incorrect since Sandusky broke in 2011. Paterno was fired in 2011. Spainer and Curley were indicted and resigned in 2011.

Clearly the biggest story is Armstrong, the All-American hero.
 
When I skimmed the list and read "Tiger's first win since '09" my first thought was, no the Giants beat the Tigers. Oh how the mighty have fallen!
