Yep. It’s also embarrassing when Republicans criticize Maxine but then are silent when it comes to Trump’s advocacies. See above.
 
It's amazing how much mileage Republicans have gotten out of the murky family stories about Warren's heritage. It's a complete non-story that they've been using for years to discredit her.
 
Those genetic testing sites make commercials about people who always thought their heritage was one thing and the test came back differently. Yet we are to believe it’s some huge sin.
 
Trump's entire campaign and most of his governance is ruled by identity politics and identity hiring.

Remember the time she defended her claims to native american heritage by declaring she has “high cheekbones... like all the Indians do”?

They're shameless. Steve King has been openly racist for years, and Republicans not only say nothing, they seek his support when they want to run for president. It goes back to the John Stewart quote, the right has created rules that they police, but that they do not have to follow.

Meanwhile Dems have internalized Republicans attacks. Chuck Schumer, speaking to supporters, defended his critique of Waters by saying that Brooklyn is "not the center of the country." Ignoring the fact that the protests and the grassroots energy of the last year and a half have come from all across the country, including some very red areas. He's afraid he'll alienate "real Americans."
