CBM: X-Men '97; Deadpool and Wolverine trailer

No mention of Nate Patrelli (and cartoon Iron Man) showing up as thorn in Hulk's side Glenn Talbot?

If Fillion shows up, then only BSG is missing from the pantheon of the geek oeuvre. You've got Star Trek (JJ's at least) with Saldana, Dr. Who with Karen Gillan, Hobbit (Lee Pace), Star Wars (Peter Sarafinowica and maybe Sam Jackson?)

Just read the CNN article. If true, Bryan Singer is one sick sadistic bastard.

http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/17/showbiz/bryan-singer-sex-lawsuit/index.html?hpt=hp_t3

In other words, he is a hollywood director.

This kid was along for the ride and now he is trying a money grab. If you read the only reason this suit was filed was that Hawaii opened a loophole period where claims that have had their statute of limitations run can be refiled. This happened years ago. If he was that upset about it, he should have brought charges then.

Read the article. He and others did bring charges against others who were involved except Singer wasn't included then.

Child abuse cases and statute of limitations are tough ones. Many kids won't speak up and when they finally decide to act, the SoL has run.

I did. They took it to the police and received no action. They then brought a civil suit. If Singer was involved then, why not name him? This is just an additional money grab bc a clever lawyer found an angle to exploit in Hawaii procedure. They probably threatened Singer a few weeks back, telling him they would file right before the movie if he didnt give them some blood money. He told them to fuck off, and here we are.

Yeesh. The sad thing is that this is how Hollyweird works and it's been going on for decades. Young poor pretty kids bus it there on a wing and a prayer and the rich fat cats prey on them.

From that Gawker article:

Bryan goes through different boys each week. He promises them big movie roles and then just drops them. He and Roland Emmerich have infamous pool parties with literally hundreds of twinks, you can easily find the pics online. Bryan also certifiably has a thing for young twins. A pair live in his house and I have more pics of him with some other twins... but aside from that it's interesting to note that Shawn Ashmore (Ice Man from X-Men) has a twin brother named Aaron and his brother wrote a blog post and described that he use to live in Bryan Singer's house. So while I have no proof that Bryan dated them, you should be able to put two and two together. Of course they are way too old for him now. Just like Bryan Singer dropped Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty after they became too old and Superman Returns bombed. What, did you think a 24 year old Dan Harris became the writer of X-Men 2 based solely on narrative talent?

We've already seen Hulk smash up a helicarrier so there was no reason to see him do it again.

Curious if they'll use AOS to expand the Hulk world considering Banner has only had a cameo since Avengers and nothing planned. Talbot looks to be a main foe going forward. They've already mentioned The Abomination.

Yeah, I shouldn't have brought it into the thread. I do think it is an interesting look into Hollywood culture. It's kind of like the bag man article in that the what isn't a surprise but the how is kind of sickening and you realize just how easy it is to manipulate (or be manipulated by) teenage boys.

When you get a chance you might want to check this out. It's a blog post by someone who knew Singer. Just giving advanced warning, it's pretty messed up.
