Hooooooo boy. That Jags game didn't do great things for my ability to be a productive employee today.
 
So I decided that the best way to combat yesterday's hangover was to pile on a phenominal amount of booze and food. Today has not started out well and I fear that it will only go downhill.

I bought 2 gatorades at the deli next door, came straight into my office and shut the door. About 5 mins later my assistant knocked, took one look, handed me a document, nodded knowingly and quietly shut my door and left.

My office xmas party is today. 12-4 at Union Trust, decent steakhouse. Open bar.

May leave early and get a start on the weekend.
 
our CEO swings her huge dick and pays for the whole thing out of pocket every year, which is typ a 4 hour open bar at a nice steak house with raffles and prizes and shit
 
My office party was this past weekend. Was held at the harbour club downtown; open bar, pretty good food. It had a "Monte Carlo" theme so there were casino game tables and you could trade in your chips for raffle tickets at the end of the night. CEO gave out 3 cash prizes at the end of the night. It was a decent party - our office culture kind of sucks so people aren't very close to each other and it makes the night a little long / awkward. Nice party though.

my old workplace's party was like that and it was amazing. current office party is just at a VP's house and is a BYOB potluck. it's still usually fun, but this year i think they waited too long to organize it, and a lot of people are already traveling. miiiiiight be lame. (it's tonight).
 
i'm just hoping the CEO gets drunk and announces we get the day after xmas off

the big downside to her throwing the thing is that she gives like a 30 minute rambling speech that almost always gets uncomfortable and awkward
