A handle of Jim Beam today was $22. Jack is $35. My costs of living should drop significantly.

I went climbing today for the first time in months.
I wish someone had sent me letters, telling me I was just getting fat and weak and it would be a miserable experience to go back if I continued my inactivity. Alas, I did not get these letters and it was a miserable experience. I am so weak, I have baby arms, my hand strength is gone. That said, at least I had leg strength... thanks, running.

Climbing makes me realize just how little upper body strength I actually have. It's a great workout, though.

Cav, you need to go to the Gainesville Ale House on Archer. We were down for a football game last year and Ale House made us remember how awesome being in a college town is with respect to cheap food and booze. There were three of us and we got chicken nachos (enough to feed the three of us by itself), two things of zingers (boneless wings) and three pitcher of beer - our bill was like $27 total.

Yeah. I drove past yesterday. We did trivia at gators dockside last night. Pitcher of Amber Bock and gator tail for $13.

Because it's really not. Wake isn't big enough for it to be the end all be all of a city, especially one the size of Winston. When I think of college town, I think of Gainesville, Athens, Ann Arbor, Charlottesville, etc.

So you would basically say any city/town with a college in it is a college town? Interesting. I hear college town and think of a place where the college is the town and the town is the college.

Gainesville seems like such a cool place to be a student. The bars and restaurants there seems to have such a magically delightful college vibe to them. And if I recall correctly some really awesome bars are walking distance from campus.

I'm sure there are some that don't have anything to do with the college but I haven't lived in any, which was my original statement. Winston may not be obsessed with Wake but it also has 3 other colleges. It's a town with a large college student population, lots of things for college students to do, etc.

My house is walking distance to the law school and bars. My roommates sister was telling me about the bar specials. Normally on Thursday she goes to penny wine night.

Goodness Cav this really is like the script for some porno. Dude moves into house, roommate's sister is there. Pretty much writes itself.

Also, was that an invite to penny wine night?

Winston also has other industry. In Charlottesville UVA is the largest landowner and employer. There is some other industry but Wake was brought to Winston. Charlottesville grew around UVA.

She isn't going out tonight because she was out the last two nights and is going out on Friday. Tomorrow night is beat the clock. $0.25 pitchers starting at 7:00 and then the price goes up. She is going to that.

Wait so shes staying in tonight all alone? Are any of your other roommates there? Also... she lookin right?
