Haven't been there in twenty years. It used to be fine.

If Steve Ballmer has his way, it will be knocked down to build a new Clippers home. You'll get to see the new LA football stadium as it is in the same parking lot as is the kinda skeezy Hollywood Park Casino.

If you are coming from the airport on Century Blvd., Melo Burger is a classic LA hamburger stand with tons of milk shake flavor combinations. If you go north on LaCienega from Century Blvd. , you can get your Randy's Donuts picture.

You could eat in the Marina or Venice or Playa del Rey and shoot over to the Forum quite easily.

Remember, you can go to a pot store before going to the Dead show.
 
It's a great concert venue. They put a ton of money into renovating it as solely a venue for concerts, and there's not a bad seat in the place.

any particular dispensaries worth checking out? we'll be staying on the east side by that part of the week. mother-in-law (same one who didn't know dog walkers were a thing) got us the dead tix for xmas.
 
If you want to go corporate stores, look to see if there is a Med Men outlet near where you are staying.

The idea of paying for a dog walker was foreign to someone who will either drive home to take the dog out or just leave them in the yard all day. The idea of not having two cars between me and my wife was also deemed insane. My dad was jealous I haven't spent a single minute raking the yard this year though.

You truly need professional help. I'm hardly ego driven enough to think I am the only person with whom your interact in such a hate-filled manner. This is a serious problem for you.

Everyone else here is having fun. We are joking, being sarcastic, anything but serious (except trying help Townie to find a pot store). However, your blind, irrational, childish hatred of someone you don't know at all has to bubble up and get in the way of the fun of the rest of us.

Find a professional who can help you help yourself.

See also: that (NYT?) article about Boomers not being able to sell their "dream home," because nobody wants to live in their dream or do the work to remodel it.

I think the McMansions 3+ miles out of town are going to be especially harder to sell over time.
