no executive bathroom? here i thought you had made it

About the Bojangles' thing, I was kidding. Not about the washroom.

I really hope we all get the joy of a coaching search thread this offseason. It might be a good opportunity to launch OG Boards 2.

i guess what i'd say to tiger woods's wife is

You can look at the world
'Til you don't know what you've done
You can follow a salary to the bottom of the ocean
Is that yours?

Heading down to New Orleans tomorrow night for a bachelor party/Mardi Gras extravaganza. Any recs?

I believe it is Tiger Swood. Mrs. Swood congrats on the new gig. Ain’t no price on peace of mind.

oh man so many. go to any Donald Link restaurant -- at the very least Butcher for sandwiches. Mahonys, Parkway, Domilises for poboys. Willie Maes Scotch House for some of the best fried chicken in America. Le Petit Grocery.

Tomorrow night it’s just me, my best friend and the groom so we are staying at the Eliza Jane which it looks like is two blocks from Canal. The rest of the weekend we’ll be at a big Airbnb on the other side of the FQ just past Esplanade Ave.

Nice — thanks!

Def plan to at least take the walk down Bourbon and take in some of the Mardi Gras stuff but would also welcome some less mainstream recs. Particularly any good cocktail bars. My brother was just in NOLA in January and he recommended Frenchmen St but his recs can be suspect soooo

French 75 is a nice lowkey cocktail bar right off Bourbon.

There's a great restaurant near your AirBnB called Katie's - they have terrific food (try the chargrilled oysters and the crawfish beignets) and they also do a bottomless mimosa or bloody mary.

Definitely second Domilise's for poboys, although that's the the side of town, it's worth the trip.

my recommendations, other than Bacchanal which is amazing and worth a trip and i'd live there if i could, are all pretty worthless seeing as how i was at a bachelor party with a bunch of lunatics and opted to hang out and smoke reefer at our airbnb pool a lot

but turtle soup and $0.25 martinis at commanders was cool and i also enjoyed my time at the casino after taking some drugs where we watched a very earnest asian dude in a track suit sing a lot of elvis songs at casino karaoke and also watched the sixers win a playoff game whilst the other half of our group were soliciting sex workers at a strip club

it's very much a choose your own adventure type of city

also recommend taking the riverboat tour because the guide points out the domino sugar factory and says OH HOW SWEET IT IS
