The expansion proposal was voted down a week ago. So, would guess that this would only be up for another vote if some circumstance had changed (e.g., like more money per school from a media partner as a result of the additional programming/content, as in West Coast time slots, that three additional schools would provide) with the idea that the change in circumstances is enough to convert a "no" vote into a "yes" vote. If Currie supports the adds; I support it. That said, with the exception of football, hard to see how just two schools on the West Coast is a workable scenario for other sports.
OTOH, University of Denver has a nationally ranked lacrosse program, and every year, all but two/three of their games are against teams in the eastern time zone. It has worked for them. So, maybe Stanford and Cal could make it work in other sports.
