Because they don't have many options for watching live FB? I don't know that fans of FB in Europe are particularly discriminate consumers.

This seems like the correct answer. Some school(USC or Bama) did this a few years ago with a late season game at Hawaii back when playing there got you an extra game when they had a bowl ban.

Also true, if I lived in London I would pay top dollar to go to a Jags-Raiders game just to be at a football game.
