Duke was still playing in a high school level facility when Cutcliffe took over. His start is better compared to Grobe rather than Clawson.

Whilst I love Grobie, Clawson is starting in quite a different ACC. Deacon Tower doesn't offset Clemson/FSU/Lville being top 10 programs in the country. Grobe emerged through a pack of ACC teams that was at best, the ghost of two different Bowdens.

If Clawson had Troy C for his OC this team would be top 25 at this point ( before UL and Clemson).

Offense must improve. But given where we were when Clawson took over, he has accomplished more than we should have expected in 3 years. Most impressive may be what he has done in recruiting.
