I'm hardly a Peggy Noonan fan, but she had a good article this week on how incredibly lucky we've been that Trump and his administration (basically his crooked cronies and sycophants at this point) haven't had to face a truly serious international or domestic crisis thus far. I fully agree, but it seems to me that our luck is going to run out eventually. She argues that the coronavirus outbreak could be that moment, and even if it isn't, that we're basically living on borrowed time before some disaster hits that Trump and his minions will have to actually deal with. Yet another reason (out of many) to get this clown show out of the WH in November.
