Chasing unrealistic goals through mandates and blaming deplorables is the proper method to Build Back Better.
I mean, at some point, a president has to stop blaming his constituents for their medical decisions and start accounting for them, particularly when the only real power he has over them is a bully pulpit.

That’s all it comes down to.
Biden's focus on prevention rather than treatment has been a real misstep, even before the hindsight gained from Omicron. Instead of ordering sufficient supplies of therapeutics, like monoclonal antibody treatment and anticipatory purchases of Paxlovid pending PDA approval, back in the fall, his administration was focused on enacting mandates. We aren't going to be able to vaccinate our way out of this considering, among other things, how quickly immunity from transmission wanes and the likelihood of additional vaccine-evading variants.
Given the contempt Biden seems to holds for the unvaccinated, it almost makes you wonder if the cruelty is the point.
Do you seriously think that "monoclonal antibody treatments for all" is more realistic than "vaccines for all"?
Have you heard of Paxlovid? It's a pill.
Vaccines are a shot. It's as simple as could be.

Apparently the party of abstinence to prevent HIV is now advocating for therapeutics for COVID and not, you know, prevention.
