CROOKED Hilary

The disconnect between BKF's views on systemic racism/black lives matter movement and his views on income inequality/belief that we need a "political revolution" to address income inequality is an odd one to me.

BKF, you know that the bulk of the people who would come into office if a "political revolution" of sorts were to occur are likely to be many of the same people who aren't buying into your "just submit to authority and if you aren't doing anything wrong you don't have anything to worry about" right?

I do not accept the premise from which you reach your conclusion. You are over-simplifying the situation, as well as my positions on all of these issues.

Bernie clearly wants to be elected, but the longer he is out there getting votes and campaigning, the more people he hits with his ideas of a political revolution.

It's not really so much about winning, but changing a mindset of accepting the status quo of a corrupt and futile Congress/Presidency.

Do I agree with everything Bernie says? Of course not. I think a few of his economical statements have huge question marks as to the legitimacy of how they will work. I am, however, completely 100% behind his mentality and what he stands for.

Therefore I will be voting for Bernie as long as he is in the race.

My feelings exactly.

As I said, she is nothing but a disgusting & dishonest Wall Street whore.

If the Democrats give her the nomination they deserve to lose the election.....and I hope to hell that they do.

She and her cronies proved 12 years ago that they didn't give a damn about the country and were only interested in her blind ambition.

The woman not only looks like a plump butterball (some might say pig in a poke) but she's completely dishonest about those contributing to her campaign. Why didn't Anderson Cooper ask her about the $5M George Soros has just given her? Is that a small contribution too? Does anybody believe that Soros would fork over an amount like that without expecting anything in return?

And oh yeah, does anybody really think that Bernie can not only call attention to the problem - which everyone already knows exists - but fix it too?

Much like Barry Goldwater's nomination changed the Republican party.

Bernie's whole premise is that there has to be a political revolution. In other words, he is telling his voters that it's not enough to elect Bernie, they've got to get a whole bunch of other Dems into Congress on Bernie's coat tails. Given the post-2010 gerrymandering of America that is probably the most unrealistic thing about Bernie's whole pitch.

You mean you think there is little chance that the Dems take back the House this year?

What do you think about Bernie's stances on systemic racism?

I don't know what it is, as I haven't watched any of the Democratic debates. "Systemic racism" is a pretty broad term that has been ridiculously exaggerated, in my opinion. If that isn't how Bernie feels.....well, all I would say is that he is running for president. I'm not, so I don't have to grovel at that political altar.

"I've made up my mind about the candidates already. No need for me to watch any damn exchanges of ideas!!!111"

It's just a damned dog & pony show, DV7. Nothing more, nothing less.

I can't watch Hillary for more than about 15 seconds without feeling the need to throw up. And I know I'm not going to vote for anyone who gets quarter million dollar bribes disguised as speaking fees from disgusting companies like Goldman Sachs....so what is the point in watching that garbage?

Well I resubmit my earlier question then if this is the answer. There is a serious disconnect here. Who do you think is going to ride in on the coat tails of a Bernie revolution?

Again, you insist on over-simplifying everything. Do you think that BLM is the only issue in this campaign? That's hardly even on the damned radar of what is important in this campaign.

Bernie never even brought the subject up (and rightly so) until those two idiot crazy women hijacked one of his campaign events. As I said, I'm not running for president, so I don't have to grovel for votes to dipshits like that.

Well let me phrase it another way. Do you think the far left democrats most likely to ride in on the tails of a Bernie democratic socialist political revolution are only going to be progressive on economic issues?

This isn't the point at all. The point is you say we need a political revolution and apparently believe Bernie can shepherd it in since you support him. With that in mind you also think systemic racism is vastly over generalized and overstated, yet the progressives most likely to come in with Bernie are going to be progressive and left on both social and economic issue - one such issue is incarceration rates for people of color being disproportionate to those of white people and another are the systemic barriers creating inequality. If you don't really think that systemic racism is a big issue and it's likely to be a major focus of the far left who will create a revolution why are you such a big supporter of that revolution?

I don't agree with half the assumptions that you are making. And all of these things are relative, anyway. Once again, you want to take all kinds of gray areas and turn them into black & white to fit your little narrative.

No I want you to tell us what you expect this political revolution to look like. What specific assumptions are you disagreeing with?
