Mary and marry are very similar and if I'm speaking quickly they probably sound the same. Merry and marry/Mary are very different, though.

Do you say "me-ree"? If you told me "me-ree" christmas, I would probably just piss on your leg right in the middle of Kohls.

trying to buy a new rug for my living room and debating between these two (definitely want something in a big pattern but only in subdued aqua-ish blue and white-- have a gray couch, two lime green accent chairs and going bold/tying in colors with curtain panels and pillows).

Thoughts on these two? Open to other options too!

Defs like the first one better. The chevron one give me a headache, both in design and in color.

What about berry and Barry?

Yeah. One has an "e" and one has an "a".

Do you say "me-ree"? If you told me "me-ree" christmas, I would probably just piss on your leg right in the middle of Kohls.

I say "merry" with an "e", like it's spelled and all, but I think I also pronounce the "a" in "marry" more.

I agree. The first one is a better base and is more likely to be able to be used with a different color scheme down the road.

Would people say that you have an accent of some kind? What you are saying makes no sense to me.

I can understand the Mary/marry thing not making sense but the other things? They're different words.

oh brother! i had the most hilarious conversation about the same thing with my fiancé deachops back when we were dating! we were talking about the words we pronounce differently. she really kept going on about little differences and I was confused at first. like how I say care-rot and she says care-rat, or I when I say workout it sounds like worgout because I didnt pronounce the k. we talked and talked and I worked on my pronounciation all weeked. anywho, long story short, after she proposed I found out that was a test to see if we were compatible in the long run and my fiance hops was also feeling out the boundaries of my love language. Glad I passed the test!!!!
:)

Let's talk about important words. Mario or mary-o?
