CT 757: does anyone know a paralegal who enjoys insensitive jokes

Which is worse, delivery companies or cable companies? Delivery companies say they stopped at your house to try and deliver something but you weren't home, even when you were, then they dont try and and redeliver. Cable companies make you set up your own service now and are genuinely terrible to work with. Yet we still give both a ton of money. Business models were you can literally tell your customers to eat shit and die are the best.
 
Seems like we can talk mako into anything if we tell him we're with the school district.
 
Arrogant asshole ENT doctor today. I waited 55 minutes past my appointment time for him to come into the room and immediately tell me that he'd never had a referral from a dentist for teeth grinding being caused by airway obstruction while sleeping and that this was all a waste of HIS time. "There is no need for a surgeon to be doing this kind of work." Then he begrudgingly agreed to shove a camera up my nose and conceded that I did indeed have a problem with the position of my tongue that likely causes a lack of oxygen while sleeping; that there is a surgical option but first we should try an apparatus that will hold my jaw in a better position while I sleep. What a dick.

I’m not an expert but I don’t believe “Frozen Food” was a thing in the 20s and certainly not ubiquitous enough to be included on a reusable grocery list.

I have a feeling I’m about to go down a rabbit hole…

Hm, probably not. Frozen food as a commodity would not be commonplace until the late 30s maybe 40s at the earliest.

My initial reaction too. Maybe the 30s.
 
did they even have supermarkets in the 20s, or were you still going to the butcher, baker, etc? and did people get milk in the store or just delivered then?

'supermarkets' as we think of them didn't exist until the 30s

I wish milkmen were still a thing. Fresh chocolate milk straight from the cow’s teat every morning? Sure why not
 
Slicing leftover roasted chicken to use on a sandwich is a strong move I never usually do (don't eat much bread at home). Chicken, romaine, garden tomato slices, sweet onions, slathered in Dukes on honey wheat bread. Damn good late lunch a while ago.
 
Oh man just had a pulled pork sammich from this brisket place down the street from me (delivered of course, cause it's 90 degrees today) that is defs making it in the rotation.
