I had a smallish group of friends, but I think we had a lot of fun, partied and were pretty social

I was greek, but was much less fraternity focused my last year.

In the late 90s, I found that if you didn't venture off of campus much, greek life was the anchor (in both the center and weighing down sense) of on-campus social life, and often precluded students finding cool things to do in Winston (which admittedly, had fewer cool things then than now).
