Today's grammar question:

Y ensures the other party that they will do X
Y ensures to the other party that they will do X

Which is correct?

I don't know if either is "more correct" than the other but I think colloquially the first is fine. Second one reads a little awkwardly to me (plus seems to include additional words that don't need to be there) even if there's some "correct" world where you need to offer your "ensurances" directly "to another party"
 
You don't need the "to" with properly reflexive verbs. I would use "assure" instead of "ensure" based on the context, but that's just a matter of preference.
 
I simplified the sentence, but the points is I shouldn't have to waste time defending my not using "to" in the sentence.

First option sounds correct to me but I'm from western Forsyth county.
 
Timmy, sorry I haven't followed all of your posts on this, but you are looking for another job, yes? Your situation sounds terrible.
 
You really don't need to use "my" here
