It is interesting to see how good we were with those guys on the field despite them not being good enough to play in the NFL.

That is alright. He made Wake proud when he was here. Kind of like Steve Alford in college. Some just aren't made for the pros . Damn shame but that is the way it is. On the other hand we have real surprises like Dave Bush who make it.

Without having any knowledge of what happened over the last couple years with his career, betting he would have had a HOF career when drafted would have been a terrible bet.

Do those who want to keep defending Curry as a nice guy just voluntarily chose to ignore Curry's own words and actions? Or are they just unaware of them?

Actually, the more nuanced answer is it took a special recruiting class, great player development, a fair amount of luck, and an understanding of the reality that plenty of college studs suck at the next level.

That said, it's more fun to be overly reactionary. CURRY OUT GROBE IN
