If DC wants statehood, it should be re-absorbed by VA and MD. It wasn't designed as a state and isn't governed like one.

VA already took their part back (Arlington). D.C. is all former MD.

If DC doesn't have voting Reps and Senators, then they shouldn't be taxed. It's ironic that the no tax party, doesn't believe in "no taxation without representation" for DC.

Yeah I noticed that when reading up on retrocession. It should be retrocession or nothing, IMO.
