Did we just pinch hit for the catcher and have the PH attempt (and fail) a sacrifice bunt?

sac bunt attempt results in seymour thrown out at 3rd after leadoff double. unbelievable.
 
walter has killed us with sac bunts for years. sac bunting destroyed us against florida in ncaa tourney.
 
Inability to execute a simple sacrifice bunt - over and over again - cost us big time. That's twice today in this game we've killed ourselves. Add in 2 passed balls to give them 2 runs and you just can't constantly shoot yourself in the foot while giving the other team more chances to score. Been that way all season long.
 
Long K's with runners on corners. We make it so hard. Awesome chance to win it and we won't take it. 2 out with runners on 2nd and 3rd.
 
The fact that we had Long already in the lineup just makes the sac bunt call even worse considering we had to pinch hit with Ludowig to get there. Just awful.
 
Sacrifice bunt so stupid there. Man on second, no outs, you need one hit to take the lead. And right after the failed sacrifice, we get one.

WF has stranded 13 runners through 9 innings. Must be among the national leaders in that category for the year.

Not to mention that, especially with our shoddy bullpen, getting two runs is a huge advantage over getting a single one.

Thanks to Duke's idiot manager for returning the favor by trying to sacrifice bunt (resulting in a bunt foul strikeout) after Cusick started the inning with five straight balls.
