Yeah. Tom should get run here. That pitch was good enough to be strike three. Made a great pitch.
 
We gave away this game not being able to field the baseball.
 
What a fricking clown show. Up by 3 runs and you walk two guys. Then you get the routine chopper but second baseman can't make the simple play, then the catcher can't get a simple tag down after a good throw. Not to mention the strike outs with bases loaded and one out. Of course all that would be moot if the ump would have gone the blatant third strike, when the score was 5 to 4.
 
They've had 2 similar situation replays in earlier games today and although in each case it looked like the call could/should be overturned they have ruled it ultimately to be inconclusive. That call was very similar and ultimately should be ruled inconclusive and therefore out not safe.
 
Hard to win games when you play sub-high school level defense.
 
I mean I umpire baseball. And that one pitch didn’t cause our typical wake meltdown up three. But damn the game should have been over on that pitch.
 
Looked like the first state runner that scored was in the way of seymour's throw. Still inexcusable that it even got to that point.
 
Fleming has been great at getting to 2 strikes - but can't put them away after that.
