Donald Impeachment

Heather Cox Richardson made a rather obvious point in her writeup two nights ago. Nancy Pelosi held the articles of impeachment to give Schiff and the house managers time to come up with their gameplan and write the speeches.

It makes perfect sense.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Their arguments, speeches, use of video content and ability to tell a story has been remarkable.
 
If they go along with Trump, Republican senators are cowards and traitors.


Vote them out.

NPR was saying this morning how Lindsey Graham had been taking notes on the Managers' presentation and would be sharing with Trump's lawyers to help on his defense.

LIndsay Graham literally went into the closet during the first day of the trial.
 
The case for impeachment is clear as day and we haven’t even seen all the documents because republicans won’t let us. Republicans will try to find a false equivalency but at the end of the day everyone knows they’re full of shit.

It can’t be said enough. All of this for Donald Trump. It’s so pathetic.

Everyone knows. Not everyone cares. Donald Trump is the hill that mediocre white men have chosen to die on. If he loses, their worldview crumbles.

Yeah, I've never been overly impressed with her, and she so rarely crosses Trump with her vote. She's tried to maintain that centrist image, but since Trump took office, that facade has worn off. I get that she's in a bit of an untenable position because she doesn't want to get primaried from the right, but she's as spineless as Graham and Romney. Murkowski and maybe Cornyn may be the only senators remaining with anything resembling a spine.
